How to Use
If you've never downloaded a Windows Media Player skin before, here's a basic overview:

To install the skin:
  1. Make sure you have Windows Media Player installed. All windows systems should come with this automatically. Windows XP sometimes has a bit of difficulty at first, but if you go to the Windows update page and download the newer version, you should have no problems.
  2. Click the "Download" link. After agreeing to the download, it should automatically download to the proper folder and install itself (you won't see any installation screen; it just does it). This should only take a few seconds tops even on dial-up.
  3. Depending on what version player you have, either the player will open automatically with the skin open, or you might have to access your Skins/Themes list (which should appear as a tab on your default player) and apply it from there.
To stop using the skin:
  1. Right click anywhere on the open skin. A menu should pop up.
  2. Click on "Switch to Full Mode". This will return you to the default player.
Using the skins:
  • All of the skins use these basic controls
  • In the event that a buttons function is either not obvious or unmarked, simply hover your mouse over the button for a few seconds. A popup message should tell you what it does.

Gift Skins

Turbo Velocity 1.0
A skin I made of Turbo Velocity back when he was a simple recolor of Shadow with clothes and way too godmoded for his own good. It may be outdated, but it's still a pretty neat skin.

Blaze
A skin I made for a good friend of both myself and the site in general. The skin is of a character from one of her fan-fictions, and has also appeared in the Loser Sprites and Turbo Velocity comics.

Heroes Inc.
A skin I made for the creator of the comic "Heroes Inc" which you can find here. If you like this skin I highly suggest checking out the comic as well (and vice-versa).

Megaman (c) Capcom, Kirby (c) Hal Labs, Chronos (c) Square, all others (c) Nintendo

Spritescape
Another gift skin, this time for Spritescape Fantasy which can be found here. Another reccomend comic as well as skin.

Legend of Zelda Themes

Ocarina of Time
One of the very first skins I ever made. I made a few before this, but they were pretty bad. Anyways, its based on a pretty popular poster art. I'm sure you'll recognize it.

Harp of Ages
Amongst my top favorite Legend of Zelda games are the Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons for the Gameboy Color. The game was made by Capcom, who in my opinion does a damn fine job at making Zelda games. The image used for this skin is scanned directly from the instruction book.

Master Sword
I don't usually make skins this big, but this was a special request from a friend. It's a skin of a pretty popular artpiece of Link pulling the Master Sword from its pedestal in Ocarina of Time. Not a bad skin, if you like big ones.

Sonic the Hedgehog Themes

Sonic Team
A skin of the Sonic crew as they appear in the Advance series. Includes Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose. A must-download for Sonic fans.

Sonic the Hedgehog (c) Sega

Shadow the Hedgehog
A skin I did of Shadow by special request, back when he was still cool and not just some emo-goth. It's a pretty nifty skin, nevertheless.

Shadow Gun
Someone made a nifty pixelart of Shadow holding a gun on the tSR forum and I thought to myself, "Hey, I can make a skin out of that!" And after asking permission, I did. Sorry I can't remember the name of the guy who made it; if you recognize it email me so I can correct that.

Kirby's Dream Land Themes

Kirby No Kirra
An adorable skin of Kirby from "Kirby No Kirra Kirra Kizzu", a really fun puzzle game that was unfortunately never released out of Japan. If you don't find this skin adorable then you're in serious need of a labotomy.

Luvdisc
Huh, that's odd; I was trying to find the original pixelart on tSR where I found it so I can give proper credit to the creator, but it seems to have disappeared. Well, if you know who made the original art for this, tell him to email me so I can fix that.

Mewtwo
I saw this awesome pixelart of Mewtwo on tSR and right away knew I had to make a skin out of it. The art was made by charity236, who I've emailed a couple times for permission but never got an answer back, so I'm putting it up anyways.
